FlickAtlas review

Overall: 7/10. The Blood Countess is a delightfully preposterous and campy vampire comedy that marks a terrific return for director Ulrike Ottinger. Anchored by fabulous lead performances and exquisite costumes, it delivers an eccentric and visually striking experience despite some haphazard plotting. Recommended for fans of queer cinema, campy horror, and distinctive auteur visions.
