The actor took to social media to share a video capturing the warmth and spirit of the festival, connecting with supporters across the country.
Dressed in a bright yellow kurta, the celebrated actor led the rituals by performing the aarti personally. The private ceremony emphasized traditional values, quiet reflection, and familial bonding during one of the most auspicious periods of the Hindu calendar.
Honoring Late Parents
A particularly touching element of the household pooja was the inclusion of photographs of Akshay's late parents. Placed respectfully right beside the sacred deities, the framed pictures served as a poignant reminder of remembrance and gratitude.

Son Aarav Bhatia Joins the Festivities
Adding to the familial warmth of the occasion, Akshay and Twinkle Khanna's son, Aarav Bhatia, made a notable appearance in the shared video footage. The young member actively participated alongside his father, taking part in the evening's religious customs.
