Together, the guests engage in an entertaining dialogue filled with humorous anecdotes, personal histories, and meaningful life lessons.
Unusual Beginnings in the Radio Industry
Zakir Khan shares an engaging account of how he carved out a path into the radio profession without holding a traditional college graduation degree.
Skipping the conventional higher education route after completing Class 12, he instead pursued a specialised course focused on radio.
Overcoming Educational Hurdles with Diplomas
When attempting to secure a position as a Radio Jockey later on, his lack of a conventional degree initially presented a major professional obstacle.
His senior diploma in Sitar, known as Sangeet Visharad, ultimately rescued his ambitions after a court order recognised specific diplomas as equivalent to degrees.
Connections to UPSC and OMG 2
Pankaj Tripathi reveals that during his earlier days preparing for civil services exams, he frequently listened to audio lectures by Dr. Vikas Divyakirti.
The pair eventually reconnected during the COVID period before meeting once again as colleagues on the sets of the film OMG 2.
Casting Discussions for 12th Fail
Adding further depth to the conversation, Dr. Divyakirti shares that he originally approached Pankaj Tripathi to portray him in the feature film 12th Fail.
Ultimately, the educator chose to play the role himself rather than having the prominent Bollywood actor step into the character.
Celebrating Papa Yaar and Family Values
Archana Puran Singh takes a moment to commend Zakir Khan for his acclaimed Netflix special Papa Yaar, highlighting its emotional resonance with audiences.
With Zakir's parents sitting in the audience, the heartfelt discussion about family experiences earns the performer a standing ovation.
